    Classic Audio Thread of Awesome

Title change because honestly, too much good audio to share with you fags.

    sticky icky?

Up first... Edgar Allen Poe as read by Basil Rathbone. But first... why don't we have this thread already? Why haven't I thought of it before now? Well, that answer is easy... I wasn't drunk and on OT on Christmas eve until just now. So... been listening to them all evening. Made me really miss radio dramas. So, it being Christmas and all, I decided that really, we needed some classic literature up in this mofo. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies just wasn't cutting it.

    The Black Cat
    The Cask of Amontillado
The Facts In the Case of M. Valdemar
The Fall of the House of Usher
    The Haunted Palace
The Masque of the Red Death
    The Pit and the Pendulum
    The Raven
    The Tell-Tale Heart

.rar size 138.46 MB all files .mp3 format @ 128kbps. sounds like good old radio.

Next up, Edgar Allen Poe's Gothic Tales as read by the prestigious Christopher Lee. This is probably one of the best ways to hear Poe read. Lee has one of the most captivating speaking voices that I've ever come across. What else needs to be said? Ladies and Gentlemen... Christopher Fucking Lee

    01. The Tell-Tale Heart
    02. A Cask of Amontillado
    03. The Pit and the Pendulum
    04. The Black Cat

Now, yeah you can say that you've already got those ones... but not read by Christopher Lee, and if you already have them, then you don't need them. But if you haven't got them... you need them.

    *BONUS*

Because its Tuesday and I'm half asleep (also watching the movie) I bring you H.P. Lovecraft's Herbert West, Re-Animator as read by Jeffery Combs. I believe that something is indeed missing from the first file, but it's hard to find so I'm not gonna complain too hard about it. Definitely a good listen, Combs has an entertaining voice.

    More Lovecraft:

Decided to add The Call of Cthulhu by H.P. Lovecraft to the list of shit you should all have. It's one of those stories, you know? I didn't pay attention to who read it, but its irrelevant. I couldn't find my copy of the ebook or I would have included that as well. Tough shit. Enjoy.

.rar size 61.66 mb .mp3 format @ 96kbps (shitty i know, but fuck off)

    Enjoy. :wiggle:

 I listened to a pile of Poe (along with all seven Narnia books) on my drive to and from Houston last summer.
