    Looks pretty funny to me.
I love Meryl Streep's daughter saying that she is just like her character in the movie.

you kidding? This looks terrible, they've been marketing it horribly, and the reviews have been dismal. It's the sort of movie where those things don't matter, because they'll get a femme niche audience.

It's a shame, too. Streep is a fantastic actress and I've always had high hopes for Hathaway.

Actually rotten tomatoes is giving it a 76% right now. And my local reviewer gave it a B.

I found it an amusing take on the fashion world.

Hard to believe people buy into all that crap.

And if you think you have a bad boss, he has to be better than Miranda.

I really like Anne Hathaway but I don't have a girl to see this movie with right now. No way I'm going alone.

was there a lot of blatant product placement? i'm a marketer and that kind of stuff always interests me. with the ties to the fashion industry and such, it seems like there could be subliminal advertising all over this movie.

anyway, haven't seen this yet but i'm really looking forward to it. meryl streep is one of my all-time favorite actresses.

It was amusing to see the fashion big wigs all stand inline to be in this film that mocks their fashion world.

I guess any publicity is good publicity.

And the product placement was pretty lost on me. I know the names like Chanel & Prada, but I never buy the stuff or recognize their styles.

subliminal is an understatement, i felt as if i was flipping through a fashion magazine. continuous name dropping, blatant ads for upscale goods, shop windows in several shots...the list goes on. if you like fashion though, you'll enjoy the film. :)

Have you heard about the "Curse of the Devil Wears Prada"?

It seems the sales of companies and designers featured in the movie has gone down along with their stock values.

Good to see that product placement doesn't always work. Especially in a movie that mocks your products.

Meryl Streep was good, but I don't think she will win the Oscar.
    Oscar hates comedies.
