The best way to gain weight?

    I'm skinny, what´s the best way to gain weigth?
    I mean, a secure and fast way.:p I don't want to play with my health

    4,500 calories a day without eating a ton of fat. Eat healthy foods and not fast food or junk food. Get those calories from meals, not snacks or junk food. Workout out as well obviously

    I would not just throw a ton of calories down just yet...

    First, figure out how much you REALLY eat (no guessing BS "I think I eat a lot"). Write everything down in a little notebook for a couple days and go to an online utility like Fitday. This lets you know your average consumption of calories.

    Second, try increasing your DAILY calories by 300-500 [adding quality foods as previously suggested...]

    Third, if you are not lifting weights -> start lifting.

    Come back in a couple of months and let us know how it is going. If you are still having trouble, increase the calories a bit more.

    I r skinneh too, i thought i ate "lots" but was only 2500-3000. Also thought I was getting tons of protein when i was only getting about 120-150. Upped my cal to 3500-4000/day and protein to 230g-250g/day. Only been on it for a lil over a week, but i've gained 5lbs so far, can't wait to see my progress in a month.

    It's a fucking battle though man. You can't take this shit lightly, buckle down for a couple months of bulking, then once your at the weight your happy with, lower your cal intake slightly and maintain it. My social life is already being effected, turning down going out drinking and what not. I'm pretty much just constantly preparing food, boiling noodles, boiling eggs, grilling chicken, squeezing tuna cans. Yeah yeah I know who am I to talk, I've only been doing this for a week, but I'm taking this pretty seriously, go big or go home. Hopefully this helped.

    Word, infact the more youre willing to spend the more weight you gain. Up here in Canadia I dont eat nothing short of a toonie.

    eat right and work out the major muscles. back, legs, and chest. i wouldnt worry about arms too much at first since they are slower to gain

    A gallon of milk a day plus lifting heavy should do the trick.
