Looking for some suggestions, need one 12" sub that will be for SQ, but gets loud too. I listen mainly to rock with everything else in the mix.
It needs to handle either 600rms @ 4ohm or [email protected]
It also needs to be able and perform well in a IB setup. I would prefer a standard install, so if I can stay away from it no w7.
    Again under 400.
    Thanks

Yup, the former part owner and engineer of RE Audio is the one behind Fi.

Solid foundation. I'll be getting some SSd's... and friend is getting some Q's.

    Can't wait to hear them.

wait wait wait.......you said this needs to perform well in IB. Do you mean infinite baffle, as in a free air sub? As in no enclosure except the trunk? If that's what you're looking for, we might have to back the bus up here. I'm not certain of many subs designed for free-air anymore besides Kicker Comp. And if that's the case, you'll need about 8 of them to handle 600 watts. For the most part, anything i've seen running IB didn't require lots of power anyways. So just to clarify, are you going to use an enclosure, or go IB?

ah. unfortunately, nobody east of the mississippi river is an ID dealer, and DLS is still so lo key in Nashville, that I've never heard them. I remember Bill from Tech Marketing was trying to get us to pick them up (he was our Kicker rep), but the owner never bit.

IDMAX on 600W. But with IB you dont really need that much power.

Diamond Audio D9/TDX would work good on 1100W. Not sure if it can be mounted IB though.
