I am glad they are changing it. There was a huge uproar from people who were in the Army when that slogan got released. I know i was pissed. Command told us the meaning but the first impression was that the Army was not a team player so I'm happy to see it go.

The speech from the movie Patton says it all.

Now, an army is a team. It lives, eats, sleeps, fights as a team. This individuality stuff is a bunch of crap. The bilious bastards who wrote that stuff about individuality for the Saturday Evening Post don't know anything more about real battle than they do about fornicating.
