Well, I'm a self-professed Glock whore, but I had been wanting a Sig for a while.... so when a deal presented itself I jumped on it.

P220R Carry DA/SA with two 8rd and two 7rd mags, black grips, brown grips, and hogue wraparound grips.

Haven't fired it yet, but it feels great in the hand... can't wait to hit the range tomorrow.

Not bad I guess. Could be better... could be a Glock.

I still have 3 Glocks (traded one for a 1911 a couple weeks ago). My 19 or 23 will still be my carry and SHTF guns for a while.

(glocks are overrated, and lack style, yes they are functional reliable weapons but they just aren't pretty like that sig)

everyone and their mother buys glocks and all anyone talks about are glocks, glock this glock that. they're fine, i don't have anything against glocks, their fine weapons. but they aren't the greatest thing that's ever happened to handguns like it would seem by how much they are discussed.

i'd take that sig pictured above anyday over the glock, it's just as reliable and much better looking, and everyone and they're grandmother don't own 3 of em

and before there are 10 replies about how good the glock is, yes i agree, it's a very good handgun, i am saying nothing about how functional they are. they aren't very good looking (imo) and they're just over done (again imo). but they are good reliable guns and i have 1 myself (although it's not my favorite to look at, it certainly does fine at the range)

nothing against the functionability of glock, i personally just don't think they are very fun to look at, their just sort of blah, and EVERYONE on the planet seems to have 1

    at Glock hate

Anyways.... how does that thing compare size-wise? Can you compare/contrast it to a known quantity, G19/G26/1911/P225/etc in regards to size and perhaps concealibility?

Not to mention everyone customizing the hole damn grip on Glocks.
If you have to do custom work for it to fit your hand you shouldn't buy the damn thing.

1911s suck because you can buy new grips for them :coolugh:

  21. I only buy things that are 100% to my liking out of the box. Customizing things only means it isn't worth buying initially.

Hi, my name is apman0000 and I buy guns because they look good. I also think that the better the gun, the less people swear by it.

:hsugh: Who said that? I like customizing but not if I can't just buy a gun with the same or better reliability and feels better in my hand then having to shave down the grip.

uh oh, i did the unthinkable and didn't say that glock was gods gift to handguns.

read my posts, did i say glock was a bad gun? answer - no

i think there are other good weapons on the planet as well, and they look better than glock.

we should all just sell every gun we own and buy nothing but glocks i guess, you're right, there should be no other weapon than glock

i violated rule #1 and liked something other than a glock, dang i feel horrible now
