Worked a 17 hour shift that ended at 6:30am this morning and as I was leaving and talking about how cold it was going to be someone informed me it was 31*.:eek3:

Ended up scraping the frost off the seat so I wouldn't slide around (until it melted). Made for a very long 7 miles of interstate to get home.

Kudos to this 13 year old CBR though - cranked a little longer but it actually started.

I'm still happy with mine. (96 600F3) I won't lie - I was looking at an 09 600RR a couple weeks ago but decided against it when I found out insurance was more than double what I'm pay for my truck and bike combined.

(it's my twin bike! - wait - these do wheelies?)

it may be a different deal if it was 'supposed' to be cold - but it's the middle of fucking May!

We'll see how late I end up riding it this year though. I ended up storing it a little earlier last fall due to being busy as hell with some other things and wasn't going to have many opportunities to get it back to my folks' place for the winter.
