    ...6 one arm pullups.

    http://www.dragondoor.com/articler/mode3/232

I've only been doing negatives... I'm gonna start incorporating uneven towel chinups and alternate comedowns.
Just wondering for anyone who's read the article... while they say to be careful about overtraining... I couldn't find where it says how often one should do these?
    Any suggestions?

edit: I can do 2 with my right but only 1 with left. The second one also isn't from a dead hang. My best was 4 with my right years ago but even then only the first from rock bottom.

One of my buddies who is 145lbs at 5'9" can do 14 one armed pullups with his left (non-dominant) arm.

I can only do 2 with my right arm. :wtc:

seems like you're asking for a rotator cuff injury doing those, but I haven't tried them or read anything on them...:dunno:

I saw a rock climber casually do 6 reps with two fingers years ago... it was my motivation to do them.

this is for 175 and under obviously, Timber strap on 60-70 pounds and try it and let me know how it goes, I dont want to leave my arms hanging from the bar torn from me. You do it first for me. Plus get a vid cause your back must look sick doing it

I sure can't do a one-armed pullup. I can hold myself halfway up with one arm, but I can't do anything but a slow negative with one arm.

Have you tried a one-arm overhand pullup?

Like this, but with one arm?

I will definitely have to try this. I train for rock climbing with 2 finger chins but never tried them one handed.

Best I've done is holding a 15lb dumbell.
Since you asked politely I'll try it with 60lb dumbell between my legs.
