I believe yesterday was the leanest I've ever been at over 170lbs. This is after three weeks of dieting and cardio.
In the past I would be eating pretty much just plain chicken breasts and oatmeal. This time I regularly ate grocery versions of KFC daily, had hamburgers and even a double whopper on my days I didn't consider my cheat days or refeeds. I also did have a cheat day and refeed twice a week which I never did in the past.
And thanks my mp3 which allowed me to do a shitload of cardio at low intensity whereas before I only followed either HIIT or did a boxing routine (skipping rope, speedbag, heavy bag work). Pur had pme'd me about the effects of HIIT on him so decided to try a different way...

The result is that in 3 weeks my waist went from 27 1/2" to 26 1/2". While my r. arm did reduce from 17 1/4" to just 17", my left arm is now only 16 3/8", the smallest I recall it being in awhile.

i dont see how you could ever become leaner but good job  Your leaner then most guys competeing LOL! The cardio allowed you to eat like you did...when its done correctly you sometimes have no choice but to shovel any food in. And im guessing your metabolism is beyond anyone here so its worse. Now all I gotta do is convince you to step it up a bit and compete once ;)

ya i fell for it after everyone talking about it here and did it for 3 weeks during my show...I ended up having to play catchup after cause all it did was tax my nervous system and burn me out rather then the fat. I worked with timber awhile ago but didnt know he took my advice...(look at him, he dotn need my help :) ) But im glad he figured out something that works for him through trial n error...the only real way to bettering yourself

if no HIIT, how long is a good cardio session? would it be done at a consistent pace or varying degrees of intensity?

I started off at 1/2 hour at the highest incline. I was averaging about 3-3.5 miles per hour. This week I halved the incline but going for longer (did more than an hour yesterday) and no longer holding unto the handles.
I sometimes vary the pace depending on what I'm listening to.

Remember I'm pretty old... so mostly hard rock stuff from the 70's or early 80's as well as some U2.
Songs from KISS... Black Sabbath... Foreigner ... and a few Guns' n Roses. I have slower stuff to but I put all the harder stuff together specifically for cardio.

When you say averaged do you mean going from a light jog (~5.0) to a walking pace(~2.5)? Would this be good for all levels of fitness?

    BTW, you look fucking amazing.

    Thanks.

I'm not jogging at all just walking. The fastest I ever walked was 4.5 miles for about 15-20 minutes tops but that was maybe twice a week at most. It looked gay but I also ended alot of my cardio walking for about 10-15 minutes on my toes at 2.5 mph. Hoping it would help my calves.

I had two older brothers too. One 5 years older as well... a lot of my musical taste was influenced by them.
