Visa bill will be payed off on july 9th. From there I just have to pay off my student loan which is 2300 and then my master card thats 2400. As soon as I get that out of the way I will start saving up for my plane ticket and I should be out a couple of months after givig myself enough time to prepare.

So far I have everything budgeted out with the guys at Lanna Muay thai

    For 4 months
    Training Fees 970
    Room 363
    food 909
    personal training 363

Now all I have to work out is how much the plane ticket is going to cost and any extra expenses I might run into. So I got a pm from a couple of guys on the forum post up what other expenses I might run into or should plan for and how much emergency money I need.

The other thing I need to figure out is the Visa.

If you can afford to fly business class, I highly suggest it.

That trip in coach would suck balls.

Seat that turns into a bed FTW.

Super stoked for you, updates are sick, Id like to put something like this together within the next 2 years. Do you plan to party as well, or training only for yo?

No idea how motivated bro is, and he didnt include a drinking/partying budget in, so I just got curious. These threads get me so excited to go traveling again.

Also while were on teh topic, how do you find what schools are legit? Is there some site that does this? How do you know about Lanna?

second that. Flying to Asia in coach is hell. It will be a bite in the wallet, but it will be worth it.

I flew china eastern once, and somehow it was okay for this guy to bring solid 4 pound of prawns on the plane, them huge ziploac bags full. Not only did he get em on, he starteed pealing them and eating em right in his seat, fucking prawn shells and legs everywhere. ANd then he started sharing them with his buddies, it was fucked. I love seafood, alot, but the smell was soo bad, and they just made the hugest grossest mess ever.

:eek3: Another reason to fly coach.

When I fly, I try to stay awake the night before, so when I get on the plane I KTFO. But I make sure my friends/family wake me up for snacks or a meal.

for 4 months, you should be able to get 2 consecutive 60 day visas which you can extend for another 30 days.

When are you going? Do you plan to do hard core training, or take it easy sometimes? We could have an OT Thailand meet. I'm thinking about going in November (for R&R, not training). Free flights to Thailand are hard, but free flights to Singapore are INSANELY easy. Direct flight from Singapore to Chiang Mai too (I think Lanna is there).

I am saving up to visit my best friend in Beijing and will want to spend the majority of the time relaxing in thailand and touring cambodia.
