I have been struggling with researching this. Either it is the crappy government computers I am limited to here in Iraq, the Texas ANG website always being slow or down, or the AF not wanting me to access anything that might draw me away. Anyhow I have a wife and two kids who I have to think about before I go ahead and make the leap and I need to know what kind of health coverage comes along with an active duty guard job. Thanks in advance!

Your health benefits in an active guard position (AGR) should be Tricare.

That is in line with the information I got from the website. Getting an active guard position is supposedly really hard though. I keep hearing that they offer them from within first and they are usually filled there.
