    sarcasm?

I'm 21, 6'0 and 198 lbs (used to be 180 2 years ago). Today I've started logging every calorie I eat and I'm cutting down to less than 2,000 calories a day. I work and go to school full time so I get a chance to hit the gym about 3 times a week. My goal is to lose 10-15 lbs in next 8-10 weeks.

    Doable? Any suggestions?

ceaze... weren't you on facethejury fitness and nutrition forums few years back? I think I remember you..

anyways... guys help me out... I am currently 198 at 6'0 and I want to loose about 10-15 lbs. Starting this week I've started logging everything I eat and both days I've been between 1900 and 2000 calories and 25% good fats in that. I go to gym 3-4 days a week with 30 minutes high reps followed by 30 minutes cardio. Should I just follow what I am currently doing or change something and should I take some supplements for weight loss and if so which ones?

I'd put some muscle on first, then cut the bodyfat to see it. You don't want to lost 10-15lbs @ 198. Just look at mike, he's 6' 185

its been easy to shit on mike lately

I do have some muscle which is hiding under the fat  about year and half ago I used to be 185 with some muscle. So while putting some muscle on.... should I still stay at my current diet or up the intakes? Do less running and more 6-8 reps sets?

yes. I read in men's health that for weight loss it's the best to do mostly cardio followed by high reps (15-15-12 or 15-12-12 sets). :x:

    track your calories
    don't worry about weight-loss supplements
    hit the weights hard
make sure you're getting enough protein
at your height/weight/experience level, i'd say that the best thing to do is probably try to gain some more muscle before you cut down

seriously, it's too early to start worrying about supplements... just make sure you're eating right and getting enough protein
