Last one for now. I'm liking the D30. The menu takes some getting used to but the quality of the pics are great.

Thanks. The lighting was for the video shoot. The still pics were an afterthought.

    Thanks.

The sun was playing hide and seek on the outdoor shots so our reflector was only working part time. I did a few other shots where I used fill flash for the stills and they turned out nice but since we were primarily shooting video, our fill light came from the reflector.

We lit the dining room for video...not for stills but I probably wouldn't have changed the lighting much for stills except to add a touch more fill light.

Unless you're printing huge shit or need to crop a lot the D30 is plenty. Not that he's shooting one...right? :squint:
Nice pics all around. Don't particularly like the cones but otherwise, noice. And ThinkPad FTW :wiggle:

These pics will end up on Lenovo's web site or in printed marketing material....nothing so big that 10 megapixals can't handle. :x:

The cones can be photoshopped out but they were there for safety reasons.

The ThinkPad in the jet shot is the latest and greatest X series. Thin and light but with plenty of power.

Is that how the screen looked when you took the photo? i know i have trouble seeing my laptop screen sometimes outdoors, let alone taking photos of it.

They are getting brigher i guess.

Yeppers. Unretouched photo. It was raining out so the background light wasn't very bright which is the whole trick to shooting shots like this. We added a couple of our lights for rim and keyboard lighting.

    So you have a 30D, not a D30...as I suspected :mamoru:
I have a D30 :hs: But 8x10 mag/brochure shots are no issue for 3MP anyway.
