Whenever I use terminal to edit files out in la-la land at work, it's inserting ^M at the end of every line. I can't see to find a way to make it stop or even what's causing it. Has anyone else run into this problem or do you know a way to make it stop?

If not, is there another, better terminal client out there for OSX?

    1) I don't really know, didn't know there was a difference.

    2) it's using ksh on the host machines I'm telnetting into

    3) I'm on my mac and telnetting onto other hosts

    4) Terminal - I would use Putty on a windows machine, but I don't know of any application like that for Mac.
