A lot of interesting questions, looks a lot like the order sheet back during the peak of the pony/muscle car era with a lot of engine/drivetrain and trim options, the ability to delete items that add weight. A LS9 powered RS/SS, 6 speed paddle shift, solid rear axle, with AC and power window delete would definately be killer.

why? power to wieght raito much? .. and just beef the suspention up for the wieght of the car and your in business. if car craft can make a '65 biscayne handle like a WRX then GM can surly do better with new tech.

    :dunno:

    You really are an idiot.

A 4500 lb musclecar with 500 horsepower will only perform to a certain degree.

a 3500 lb car with the same power will go like a fuckin rocket.

power to weight ratio... what you stated is obvious for any type of vehical. its simple physics, less wieght means less resistance. but they have to put all the safey stuff into it, the car has to be a certin size yada yada yada so once the car is built and wieghed then they calculated how much power is needed to make the car perform a certin way and apply that..

thats why a 2500lbs civic doesnt come stock with 600hp, it only has 120hp or whatever becaue thats all it needs to get it moving.

Replied. On the question regarding the V6 Automatic:

"I would never ever consider bying a V6 Automatic because I'm not the father of a spoiled brat 16-year-old girl."

Right-o, but i still think they can make the car safe at less than 4500 lbs. I just want a better power-weight ratio to keep from having to dump half the seats out to have any fun :)

And am i the only one lovin the old-school belt buckles?

im sure if GM could keep the wieght down they would but i think it comes down to the size of the car.. its gonna be comparable to the mustang and challanger.. and im pretty sure the new areo will weigh in around 3700lbs.. thats just my guess :dunno:

The Challenger show car is a hell of a lot bigger than the Camaro show car.

I <3 small cars. A car oughta be big enough for me, tires, and a bigass engine. Is anything else really necessary?

    Stereo? Pfft, ipod.

    Luggage? Passenger seat.
ABS? Traction control? Airbags? spare tire and jack? steel panels?

    Pfft. All unnecessary :p
