    what would you change?

i think its clean and well organized, but i dont like how predominant the "log in" section is. that should be tucked away in the corner while the "search" section is more in the middle and larger.

    thoughts?

when you first look at it, dont your eyes go to the log in section? shouldnt it go to an area that more describes the site? or does it matter?

    a) Logo sucks
    b) why do you have search in the top, when you already have in site itself?
    c) the login fields aren't alinged correctly, too much space next to them
    d) I would make location, into a 1 liner. To do this...Make the province/state a drop down menu. Or better yet add a zipcode script, so all they'd need to do is enter zipcode
    e) Experiences, I would make it just say Company instead of company name..and then align all the text, so it looks like a block. Center it on the space just after Experience.
    f) On the bottom, remove copyright information, and stick that info into terms of use
    g) I'd put some outline around the login info, because right now it looks like you have a ton of space below and above it'
    h) increase the size of text boxes for login info, so that they end just above the "logged in"
    i) lose the purple background behind the tag line
    j) Make the text for the bottom text, white not puke green
    k) same for the top text
    l) instead of using "Latest good experience", maybe use Recent good experience
    m) add sign up in top screen
    n)

it really doesn't matter if an idea was done before...on the internet EVERYTHING has been done before.

And since its so huge...99% of the population still hasn't heard of sites like craigslist, ebay, google.

So you can come out with an IDENTICAL product(of course its better to have one-two new features), and wtih the right steps, you can come out on top. Hell half the people switch because of different design.

Just go in, knowing that it'll be hard ass work, that money won't fall out of the sky...and eventually you'll hit the critical point where you'll be able to make a pretty comfortable living from ads alone, having the 100th largest store review site.

it would take a little more than a little comment for me to get butthurt.

I asked for feedback on the layout, nothing else.

if you honestly don't see anything wrong with what you said and understand how it would typically be interpreted, then you have very bad communication skills.
