I almost bought a GTO, but I'm used to bigger vehicles and it's not really convenient with a two year old.
I have driven a regular Trailblazer and it seemed like a POS. Does the SS package make it worth another look?

Also, price is a major factor. You can find very low mileage ones for under $25k.

well, yea...but every domestic truck/suv interior is shitty unless you go for the luxury divisions.

It's a very fast and cool POS. Like the Camaro was.

If you can't live with an old-school GM plastic interior you might want to get the upcoming Pontiac G8 instead, it's also packing the 6.0L.

I have had a couple of dates with a girl who has an SS. Her husband picked it out, but she got it in the divorce.

The ride is horrible, gas mileage is as bad as a Tahoe but the interior space is nowhere near the larger sibling.

Sure, it's fast in a straight line, but it doesn't handle that well and the brakes are weak. Maybe I don't understand the allure of horsepower in useless trucks, but it seems that the money can be better spent elsewhere.

its a good combo of speed, looks, space, and traction....all for a reasonable price.

I'd get the 620hp model of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm considering one by the time november rolls around. (I want to get the lexus IF-A first)

Think of it this way... you can beat porsche cayenne's with this jeep. And most cars.

Car and driver says it's $76,000 :dunno: If that's the case, I'll probably buy one, try to find one used.

Hennessey is a crook and if it's the same article I'm thinking of, they talked about how low the turbo and intake is set and how potentially bad a design it is.

For sure... I could easily see the turbo and the oil pan being drug off after going over a curiously large speed bump, or pulling from a dirt road onto a paved rave.
