i'm getting back into lifting, and after getting myself a good base (say, 3 months of lifting), i'm considering trying something like a pro-hormone to help gain mass (if the hard lifting doesnt do it).

what are the pro's and cons?
    how much potential is there?
    is it worth it?

I've been lifting for around 5 solid years, and I am still nowhere near ready to take anything like that if ever. Bottom line is you should start to lift hard and correctly and not look for an easy way out (because there is none). If you do decide to take them, look at our forum member pokesteve as an example. He lifted for like a few months and took all this horrible pro hormone shit, yet he still looked like he didn't even lift weights.
