Im thinking about moving there, it seems like it would be a pretty laid back place considering all the outdoors stuff and (fucking expensive) hunting that goes on there

do they have concealed carry? do they have any wonky laws that can fuck you?

Yes, CCW is allowed. And it is a shall issue state pending you can meet a few requirements (need to submit proof of training, no felonies, etc). Although I have heard tell that new legislature is in the works to stop CO citizens from getting out of state permits. Oh and your state (Texas I am guessing) may or may not reciprocate...but if you plan to move here just get one once you move.

Open carry is allowed throughout most of the state with the exception of Denver county, National Parks, and a few other places.

There aren't any wonky laws to my knowledge either, CO is pretty chill about firearms.

http://www.gunlaws.com/links/linksco.htm is a good place to look.

**And of course, my info is based upon my own conclusions, I am not a lawyer.
