I mostly shoot .22 because of how cheap it is and have a Marlin 60 right now but was wondering about the AK-22. A local place has one for $215 and I was just wondering about its reliability, accuracy, etc.

Yep, magazine only holds 10 rounds and rimfire rifles can have detachable magazines.

Already have a rifle looking .22 that is more accurate and reliable than any 10/22 could be out of the box.

I've had one for about 6 months. My wife has an AK47 and is keeping me broke buying ammo for her. I bought the AK22 hoping that she'd like it just as much. FAIL.
It's reasonably accurate and quality is fair. There are other 22 cal AK clones that disassemble just like the real thing. This one does not. It's a generic 22 with cosmetics added to resemble the real thing.

They are nothing like a real AK. I think they are really ugly looking. If you want an AK, get a WASR 22 if you can find one. Not sure if a WASR 22 is legal in your area though.
