I own a teal ford tempo with zero shine and some rust. It's definitely a beater.

However, I HAD to voer pay for it although I do not actually want the car at all (long story). I'm selling it now, but I think it'd go a lot easier if I could get it to have some shine.

It has none, litterally. It doesn't look like pealing clear or have blemishes, it's just 100% dead flat teal. What do I do to start considering I don't have any tools?

Pics would help but Meguiar's Color X should help. Great at removing dead paint and restoring gloss, plus it is formulated for use by hand.
