Opinions? I found one for roughly $250 preshipping and ffl fees
I shot a Taurus .454 Casul, their revolvers are pretty solid and affordable
the more i look, the less i like semi autos and the more i like revolvers, but i want a smaller one
Why? Have you shot either of them?
yes, i've shot a few different glocks and a few 38 specials and one 357 and a few different types of rifles, but we're talking about handguns
Why do you like the revolvers better?
i just do I really think they are safer too, glocks "safety features" suck
100% personal opinion with no basis in fact. Sorry.
Glocks are unsafe but Sigs and revolvers are fine? Yeah. You might want to learn about what gun safety really involves before discussing mechanical safeties.
So, back to the topic. Why do you like revolvers better than autos?
not really, my instructor has seen a few cases of their "built in safety" hurting people, including a person that was there, i just think it is a dumb idea
it may be personal opinion to you, but that is fine, i'm allowed to have it, and whatever i purchase is a personal choice
fuck you, i know what i'm talking about
why do you like to wear boxers instead of briefs?
Because briefs are unsafe!!!!!
Yeah, you know.
I agree with that statement 200%. It's really whatever you feel most comfortable with. Out of the thousands of rounds that I have put down the pipe of my Glocks, I've never had a problem out of them that wasn't caused by a weak magazine spring (wear and tear item) or a bad reload (my own fault).
The one nice thing about wheel guns is the fact that even a complete novice can easily cycle right past a dud in the chamber and keep firing. A misfire screws with most newbies handling an automatic.
I have no doubt that a glock will work any and every time, i know they are built to be fucking beaten and still work, i just hate that "safety"
I learned how to clear a dud quickly (i took a morrigan consulting defensive pistol 16 hour class), but yeah, i agree, it is easier to go right past it if you had to
I think you'd be happy with that Tarus. I've shot a few of the different .38 and a ported .357 and liked them all.
please explain to me how that safety malfunctioned. i want to hear this one.
i can't remember the exact story, i heard it back in april when I took the class. i don't want to pretend to know it because i don't remember the details
if you want to know you could always email morrigan consulting and ask them
so I bought it
My wife has a 617 which is the 7 shot .357. Reliable and nice fit and finish. IMHO, you can't go wrong w/ a Taurus revolver.
I have a Taurus .357, model 66 with a 6" barrel. It has been a wonderful gun so far, and it's very accurate too. I'd highly reccomend one.
Awesome! Going to take it to the range this weekend?
well, i paid for it today, it has to be received (the payment, check) and then shipped to my ffl
