I've got a couple buddies who are throwing taurine powder in with their pre workout shake and saying they get great results (added energy and weight loss, so they say)

as i've admitted before i only take whey, creatine, gaba (at night) and supps aren't something i know much about so a simple great, shitty, waste of money, buy it it's great, whatever would be greatly appreciated.

(i take vitamins as well but don't consider them as workout supps really)

i really ain't asking for any in depth responses if ya think it's shit by all means just say it's shit lol

    thanks for any help

ok so i'm guessing taurine isn't a very popular supplement lol

one of the essentials IMO. next to glutamine its the most abundant free amino acid in muscle tissue, but not actually a part of the muscle tissue, but just in the group of aminos in the muscle cell.

its also been used as an "insulin mimicker, which it may enhacnce glucose and amino metabolism, and can play a role in cell volumizing which leads me to think that it can lead to protein metabolism.

take it its good. 1500mg throughout the day.

main benefits of supplemental taurine are that it helps with cramping, it does provide some cellular volumization (pump) but its not that significant.

I take it for back pumps. I've noticed a difference.

Potassium never did anything for me. With 2g taurine a day I can deadlift 8 days a week. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LIGHTWEIGHT BABY!!

It's part of the mix in the product I make at work. When a drink a few of em I get flushed and my arms tingle.

I know you're supposed to take it if you're on clenbuterol.
