a friend of mine wants a tattoo under her navel, but she has had 4 kids and there's a few stretch marks there. can you get a tat over the stretch marks and will it look good?

she just needs to let them heal a bit first. they should be slightly discolored. if they are pink/purple fresh ones then she'll need to wait

what if they're like a little bit lighter then skin tone. I herd you can get some pretty decent cover ups :dunno:

when they first happen they're usually a bright pink/purple kind of color. after a year or so they'll lighten up closer to skin tone or more of a white color. same as any scar really. when they're fresh the skin is like tissue paper and if you try to tattoo over it the skin will just shred and cause more scar tissue.
