I have a small tattoo which is composed mainly of thin black lines and two sections of mostly black about the size of two thumbs (one each side)

I want to add/modify this tattoo, is it possible to tattoo over the lines because they are fairly thin? I want to retain sien if the original tattoo because of the history of it.

    Thank you.

but the black regions would remain black?

you can disguise black lines if you try, but completely cover them with anything other than black, no
