I forgot to ask my artist about this so I am hoping someone here knows the answer.

Basically, I am a Chef which can mean a lot of moving around, and sweating. And I just got a tattoo this afternoon on my back/shoulder blades. Wont this affect the way my tattoo heals? My first tattoo faded really bad and I am assuming it was because of all my sweating and that I did not have time to lube it up between shifts. I know we are not suppose to rebandage it....

So basically... 1) Should I wear a tshirt to kinda "protect" it. 2)Lubing it up every few hours during work should be good enough. Or 3) What do you guys suggest?

Sweating will not affect a tattoo. You should only be lubing the tattoo when the skin is tight/dry. If it doesn't need it don't apply it.
