disturbing movie that you can't look away from...
    Anyone else seen it yet?

It's a documentary about this child who is gay and has a psychotic mother. And the documentary is shot by the child himself starting at age 11 and going through to his late 20s.

    So freaky...

    just finished watching it.

I dont really have an opinion on it yet - other than I wish I didnt watch it alone late at night. I didnt feel much emotion through the movie - but now that its over - im pretty, torn up :wtc:

so this is a real movie? or a mockumentary? I can't tell because was digital film technology availble in 1996? Shit, i can still remember 1996 :) I'm getting old! hehe.

Sounds good either way, will have to check it out

It's a real documentary... shot over the last 15 years or so by the child/man who the documentary is about.

I don't remember if this was mentioned in the film, but when I met the guy he told us that he was in some sort of Big Brothers/Sisters program and his guy was a journalist or something... who loaned him the camera to film his childhood. Then it sort of became a passion for him... filming his life. He said, i think, the hardest part was coming up with how to end it and such.

I thought this film was amazing. The emotional depths it plunges are explored by very few other films.
