going to S. Africa at the end of the month, and my Adorama Safari backpack won't fit all of my shit in it.

been looking at the Expedition 6x. anyone have one?

    needs to hold:
    LAPTOP (xps m1330)
    40D
    70-200
    100-400
    24-70
    10-22
    random feathers & lubes
    lotsa batteries & memory cards

i would like it to have another big storage compartment for chargers and books and stuff, but i can't find one that isn't gigantic that i can use

how do you like it? I'm looking at the new Expedition 6x. looks really nice, seems to hold a ton of stuff, and isn't too gigantic.

is that an Adventure series next to it? If so, which one?

I like it, but my next will not be a backpack :hs: Its well made and lots of features and shit, if you carry your laptop with it you might want to look at the lowepros instead or atleast a different series.

yeah its an adventure 9, one of my other bags

it'd have to be small and it isn't padded, on that series anyway, dunno about the 6x. I had a 5575 but outgrew it for the 5577, got the adventure 9 as a christmas present. the laptop usually goes in a timbuk2 bag :hs:

I have a Lowepro Rover Plus, it's pretty awesome

    for me it holds

    40D + grip
    10-22 + hood
    50 1.8
    17-85 + hood
    100-400 + hood
    52mm/67mm/77mm CPLs
    550ex
4 sets of aa batteries and a charger
    camera charger
    tripod
laptop and power cord, although if your laptop is much bigger then a macbook it probably won't fit, but a macbook fits perfectly
    change of clothes (pants/boxers/2pairsofsocks/shirt)

and there is still quite a bit of room to fit things :o
