at my school, we have a period called "intersession" right now, meaning 1 month of optional 1 credit classes (or no classes). So every day I go to the bjj academy that my instructor runs at night, but before going I roll for 2 hours with the club members at the school.

My friend comes for the first time since he has no work to do and rolls with us. He is very very competitive, and loses horribly. He then says that tall people just can't get good at this, and that there are no tall people that succeed in the UFC/Pride or bjj in general. I didn't really say anything to respond to it b/c I thought his ego was hurt enough... but man that was a pretty stupid opinion. :mamoru:
