It's a good gun, but you can probably find it cheaper. I got my fullsize .40 a year ago for less than that, out the door.

I think I remember seeing that you get a free range bag when you purchase an M&P as well. If I was in the market for another pistol at the moment, that's definetly one that I would be seriously considering.

well, let's say that you have an FFL that will charge 20 for a transfer. you get the gun and 2 mags for $459 out the door. with tax the one in the store will be $566 out the door. I don't think 2 mags are worth $107.

Very true, but the problem is having an FFL that does it for that price. Here in TN the shop charges 25+10 for the call + tax so it's just under 40 said and done. Back home in IL the closest FFL charged something like 95 + tax so it was over 100 by the time you were out the door.

Find a pawn shop that will do it right. There is no reason for them to charge sales tax.

I don't live there anymore so it doesn't even apply to me anymore. That's why I never bought from them :o I think I remember the shop here saying a transfer comes out to 37.xx which isn't too steep. Their prices on everything I've seen are pretty damn good, plus they stock suppressors/silencers :noes:

    2 mags = $82 normally.
    Range Bag = $40

you can get the full size w/ night sights for that price and it's easily concealed too.
