I've been wanting a little revolver for a while... just for shits and giggles. Something that'll make a big fireball and make me chuckle while shooting.

This popped up for sale nearby.

"Asking $500", so I may offer $400, and let fate decide if I get it or not.

If you buy it you'll regret it and something you've really been wanting but couldn't find will have a great deal on it the next day. Wait, you're in California, so 11 days later.

but this is something I've really been wanting :hs:

I'm going to have to hide it from my gf... she gives me enough shit about the guns I already have. I think it'll find a home under the foam in my pistol case.

:nono: Tell her you got her a present, then show her the gun. When she gets all offended then you tell her that you were trying to be nice, but you're just going to have to keep it for yourself. Then you get the gun, the right to be angry at her being ungrateful, then some make-up sex.

My P99 says the same thing...

Surprised it doesn't have a warning that says "Warning: This gun could be used as a gun"

Is that barrel ported? If so it's stupid.

It's all yours, dude. The only revolvers I find interesting are the ones that shoot black powder or cowboy loads. :bigthumb:

Yes, it is... a somewhat common thing on these little revolvers. Supposed to keep muzzle flip down.

Honestly, I'd be buying the gun as something amusing to play with at the range. I have real guns for defending myself, so the flames shooting out of the ports would just be an added amusement.

I'm framilar with how comps and ports work. That would be an exceptionally poor way to port a gun. Would have very little effect to flatten the gun, and would bleed off fps in what was already a very short barrel. I guess bleeding off fps would make the recoil feel softer.

:dunno: it's a pretty common way of doing it on these little guns.

Doesn't matter much, don't get to buy it anyway.

Perhaps I'll put the money towards an AR lower and start going down that path of emptying my wallet.
