    Here's what I have already:

    400D w/grip
    Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
    Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L
    Canon EF 50mm f/1.8

I know I would use it a lot because I love wide angle photos, indoors and out. But I'm worried that it will be too slow to take pictures indoors without a flash (don't own one).

I've looked at the Sigma 10-20mm as well, but it's hard to find a place with a good price here (Bangkok). The guy at the camera shop today said they don't sell them anymore because they've had a few defective ones. One customer's camera would show an error message sporadically when using it.

Is it worth the $680? Should I keep trying to find a good price on the Sigma?

I love mine and would never get rid of it. quality is top notch.

I've never tried to use it indoors without a flash so I can't give my two cents on that.

$680 doesn't sound like that great of a price but you're paying for the Canon name. I'd rather get a Sigma 10-20 or a Tokina 12-24.

Sigma does have a new 10mm f/2.8 which would be a good complement to your current lenses. ~$620.

no complaints with my Sigma. It's one of my more frequently used lenses.

Buy it used for $600 and save the money for a tank of gas.

Not available used here AFAIK and I don't have a car.

Best prices I can get are $499 for the Sigma and $672 for the Canon.

Going to buy the Canon tomorrow at the mall. They have a car show going on so I can get some good first shots. Delorean FTW.

I needed a few days to save up the money because I can only take out $400/day from the ATM.

I shot with a Sigma 10-20 this weekend and the color with it was HORRIBLE compared to the Canon

International transaction fee of 1-3% for CC. Don't know what counter withdrawals are but I doubt they would be cheaper than the ATM.

I get the best exchange rate with my ATM card, even better than on XE.com

werd. I got the tokina since my camera doesnt take ef-s mount. I wasnt upset either. The tokina is top notch. Everything feels so nice and smooth, even better then the canon :ugh: seriously. I dont know how much a difference is with the extra 2mm though. Still love my tokina though!

I want an ultrawide that I can use on both a full frame and crop sensor :hs: I know, not gonna happen. Like an EF 6mm-15mm zoom would be perfect.
