I submitted my paperwork for Navy OCS last week, and scheduled my test (aviation standard battery test is what the recruiter said it was) for next tuesday.

Any advice? Tips? I looked through the study guide he sent me. Looks a lot like the ACT I took to go to college.

One question, anyone know if I'll need to have all the ranks and stars and bars combinations for each rank memorized for this test? Rote memorization is something I suck at, I generally have to use something a few times before I can remember it, and I'm afraid I'm going to screw that up.

Hmm, thats strange. The book that the recruiter sent me as a pdf had no nautical stuff in it at all. Just math and science stuff, which I'll rock the shit out of.

    Fuck Fucking Fuck.

Just found an entire website devoted to studying the ASTB. Turns out theres TONS of naval and nautical crap on it. Looks like I'll be cramming all day monday before I take the test on tuesday.
