I'm using slackware 10 w/ KDE and want to take a desktop screenshot. I tried pressing 'print screen' and pasting into gimp but it's not working.

    Any help?

It should be under K->Graphics->More Programs

In case anyone's wondering, in Gnome it's under the actions menu and I believe that Print Screen is set as a hotkey for it by default.

True story! And you can get GIMP for Windows as well, and it too has a screenshot feature.
