does it do anything?
Provides fuel for your body, protein to help repair damage (however minimal). I would take it before hand if possible.
i drink a shake right after my interval workouts
i then have to fight back barf for 30 minutes and sometimes i black out
feels good man
I usually have 1 scoop before my bike rides and 1 scoop after. It's fuel for your body and your leg/core mucles get a damn good workout during a long bike ride, so to me it only makes sense to consume some protein.
I take one scoop after usually.
Scoop after running seemed to really help with muscle soreness, especially when I first started.
