Me and 'idleprocess' went to the range this afternoon.....

The place we go to is open until 8 and use lights after it gets dark, which is
sort of fun. Anyway, the light that was behind me kept going out just about
every time I pulled the trigger.

BAM....light would go out, and stay out a while, then flicker back on.

    Shoot again, it's back out.

    I <3 my muzzle brake :)

what kind of brake you have? I got a Miculek on mine, and to everyone but the shooter, it is loud as fuck (louder than my mosin would be :eek3d:)

    YHM Phantom comp/brake.

It is louder than my Savage 308 by far. Sitting next to it you feel a solid
concussion in your chest. Was also fun shooting in the dark because I got
to see just how nutty the flame is. :)

When I purchased it I didn't think it would be anywhere near this loud.

in a demented way it is fun to launch 10 rounds down range as quick as they
will allow, then look around at all the people looking at you. :mamoru:

its more challenging to shoot the same round and have people not even notice, you shouldn't use firearms to attract attention to yourself

it's a side effect, not the desired outcome.

Absolutely. I know everytime I go to the range I try to stay under the radar so no one notices that I'm there.... shooting... a gun... at a shooting range.
