Won the auction on eBay. Seller is about 3 hours away, so I'm taking a bus and driving it back. Its a 1995 with 170k miles. Appears to be in good shape, current PA inspection and emissions. Seller says its never been modified. Car has been used the last two years as a commuter for his son going to college. I'm obligated to buy it if it checks out as described. What should I look closely at or check? I had an Integra LS back in the late 90s, so I know a little bit about these cars. I'll post a few pics after I get back with it.

not that the guy will consider it a deal breaker, but in the rear wheel wells there's a rubber lining around the metal edge, its a very prone spot for rust on integras.

There actually was a small rust spot on in that area.

Look for rust...under the car, frame rails, wheel wells, engine bay, floor pans.

most cars that old in PA will have rust if they weren't taken care of

Car spent most of its life in Cape May, NJ area. It didn't come to PA until the guy I bought it from bought it.

I love cape may, but it's right on the ocean (obviously), and probably could provide some rust of it's own without road salt..? on the flip side, might not have been driven very hard.

Any plans for it or will it be mostly a commuter?

pull out that rubber liner, its pretty useless and since there's already rust in that area all it will do is increase it.
