    :wavey: Good luck man.

I'm doing the same thing, but in a way different field. Trying to turn my IT department into a consulting company as well to try and help keep costs down for the company. It's kind of scary and there are so many things to it that you never think about until you need to do them, but best of luck.

Mine is pretty much on risk. They way it stands, I've got an existing staff, exsiting funding, and existing gear/place to work from. I just want to take the existing stuff, hire on one more person and then try to start recouping at least a little bit of their salaries by having them go out and do side work. :hs: Best I can hope for in the first year is to try and cut down our total employment costs by about 15-20k the first year. It's all very "best case" but who cares. No guts no glory.

location is key. word of mouth among local MMA/BJJ/Martial artist will be huge

if you're doing web-based, it has to be a slick interface, and make sure the links work (unlike t*u.com) and talk to some people about making sure you pop up near the top on google.

    inventory/dropship?

man i could go on forever. been trying to get a wholesale accessory company going for a while, and its a nightmare.

thats too bad. its usually stuff i'm interested in, too. its seems almost intermittent. one day its this, one day its that. one time the store link didn't work. nothing major, but it might mean a few sales here and there for you.

right now, the fighter of the year link on the middle left side does nothing but re-align the page.

only reason i used it as an example was to let you know.
