I've never been to one of those, so those of you that have, help me pick the right gun to take!

USPf.45 - this is what I would take, but I'm going to be selling it soon and buying a .45 Tactical, so I'm not sure. I have 2 extra mags, night sights, and a holster for this one already.

USPc.45 - my daily carry gun, but it's small and only holds 8.

Mark 23 - Big ass monster of a pistol that I love. Would require a drop-leg holster I think. Maybe TOO tacticool.

Don't let your MK23 be a safe queen.

No contest, you should train with what you carry, because that is the gun you'll most likely be using if you ever need a gun.

No point in training to reload after 12rds if the mag only holds 8rds, the grip sizes are different, etc.

I would take all three, but as your primary use whatever you will carry. But tis a good idea to take all of them, in case you have a serious problem with your primary. training with a secondary gun is better than training with a stick as a gun and yelling bang!

I guess I'll take all 3 and use the compact. I'm still going to train with the damn MK23. It's a sin not to fire it I think.
