Tactical Pistol I, it's a 9 hour course and they cover a lot of subjects, it's $150 and some of the instructors have pretty impressive credentials.

Think $150 is worth it or should I just save up for some "better" training like Mas Ayoob's LFI-I or something.

I know there are a few WMD'ers in here in South Florida like Nismotom, mike, etc. have any of you guys ever take a course at Tactical Firearms Academy in Miami?

Is training from TFA the best that's available in South Florida?

Doesn't seem too bad, if anything the instructors all have plenty of "certified instructor" status's. Best to find someone that's trained there and go on their opinion. Or call the school and chat about the class with someone, see how their approach is.

Just go to bootcamp and then learn some HSLD shit when you become a super duper Marine.

The the high level of camo kinda scares me. The school I train at they wear Khaki 5.11 pants and Polo's.

if you're looking for a CCW course or something like it I don't think that's what you want to take. It sounds more like shooting 101 to me.

for a little over $15 an hour it sounds like a good deal, but the question remains of the quality of insturction.
