Tackle Football and then gym day after, bad idea?

    Would I be overtraining if i play football (tackle) on day before/after a gym day(my gym days are fullbody workouts, i'm following rippetoe, usually bp/sqaut/dl or a routine revolving around the clean and press)?

    I'm not really sore much, just a little bit around my thigh and the areas where i was tackled.

    so does OT F&N think i would be overtraining myself? :bowdown:

    isnt it fine to really work yourself out all day as long as you take the next day or two off?

    so it is fine to do football yesterday, then squat/dl/bp/pull ups today yes?:x:

    Im on a 5 day split. Do Muy Thai 3 days a week. Practice and sometimes throw in a little SPARQ. I guess thats why im all city though. Oh yeah Xtend is the shit.

    :ugh: For real? When I played football I worked out 5 days a week, the only days off being sunday and the day of the game
