Saw an ad and read up online... VZ is really pissing me off in their blatant negligence of the network here in that they're still 2g, no VCast service, it takes 5 minutes to look up a phone number online. ATT has Edge, Sprint has Vision, etc. they're all here. I had T-Mobile before, I know their plans are awesome and I can't remember the reason I switched back to VZ (it might have been coverage). Anyway, I use wireless internet anyway and I like the idea of getting rid of my home phone and saving $27/mo.
    Thoughts? Opinions?

it seems like an awesome deal, especially if there are a lot of places you go that have wi-fi.

too bad they have a shitty selection of phones right now.

    I go almost nowhere w/ wifi. I drive a dump truck ;)

Yea the phone selection is ftl... 2 to choose from, but I like my Samsung now and I wouldn't miss the mp3 functionality too much. The kicker is going to be rural coverage in the area. If I can't be in the smaller towns in the county and get coverage it's useless to me.
