Whenever I walk away from my system or leave it on allnight, when i come back, its frozen and has to be hard-rebooted

What kind of things could cause this?

I am running windows XP pro and i have all the anti-spyware stuff, I even turned them all off to make sure they were not causing it

I have run registry mechanic, syware doctor, microsoft antispyware, Spysweeper and nortons systemworks

    any other suggestions?

    thanks

It sounds like it could be a hibernation problem. Try disabling hibernation (Control Panel/Performance and Maintenance/Power Options).

I cant find those selections in Wondows XP pro

    where might they be?

I found it under the "power and Options" area of control panel, but the system has hibernation turned off

    should i try enabling standby?
