Anyone sync one of these devices with thier Mac? I'm in need of a new phone and want a more advanced phone, but since my Powerbook is my main machine now, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to get a phone that usually syncs with Windows PCs.

Yeah, I really want an iPhone, but I can't justify the $600 right now. And I get a Sprint discount through my work, and I get a decent discount on the devices in the title.

I know there are programs out there. But I'm interested in hearing other things. Like how well it works. how you put 3rd party software on it.

Which device works better with a Mac or are they all about the same?

missing sync does it all w/o problems. you put 3rd party software on it by putting the file into the file explorer on the phone. i think palm is the only thing that has even a small bit of syncing with mac w/o 3rd party

No WM devices are supported in OSX, and the only Palms compatible with iSync are the old Palm OS ones. Just get The Missing Sync. :)

I'm using MissingSync for my 8525. No issues the majority of the time.
