I need a hotshoe to mini adapter to fire an sb-600 from a CyberSync. BH has a paramount for $35. A PC sync to hot shoe by Hama is only $18. Based on the inter-compatibility I'm assuming it's only positive and ground which means clipping the end of the Hama cord and soldering my own 1/8 mono would be cheaper. Is this the case? Yes I know I'm saving 15 bucks on remotes and a flash that are costing me well into the 200s together, but soldering calms me and I'm cheap when possible. Can anyone confirm that a PC sync cord is a two wire affair?
