Is there any problem with them melting the harness? or does it just need to be the same wattage output. I had that problem with my last car with some cheapo Xenons. If someone could post some actual pics that would be cool

I like them. The lights arent any stronger than the stock bulbs, just brighter. They wont burn out your harness. Buy em' :bigthumb:

:greddy: I cant believe how many idiots buy these from canadian tire where i work! For the money you spend on them you can get a a truly white set of xenon bulbs which last longer and are way fuckin cheaper!

As a side note to all of you who think they look really white that may seem true compared to your standard halogeon bulb but when you see them turned on next to a set of white xenons you can see how yellow the sliverstars actually look. My friend and i tried this comparison with our cars btw and the difference is obvious.

Yeah they are one of the better lights that I have, there is a noticeable differance from stock to the silverstars

on my last car I did it with regular headlight bulbs. I took the high beam bulbs and ground that notch down with a dremel and put it in the low beam socket. bright as hell on low beams and never had any problems

    Ditto.

I bought a H4 retrofit lense for my RX-7, and installed silverstars. I'm very happy with the results. I drove around with one installed and one stock for a while just so I could see the difference. It's worth doing.

Sure, there may be better lights out there, but if I do anything else it's going to be a HID conversion.

It's amazing how uptight some people can get over headlights!

The Silverstars are very good bulbs. They are much brighter and whiter than most bulbs on the market, and are fairly well priced.

BUUUUUUUT.......I would put the money into something that actually makes your car perform better instead of headlights...

Headlights serve a very important purpose, they keep you alive.
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to hit a deer at 110 mph.

It's not like putting a big silly wing on the car, there's a very good reason to do it.
