Gotta pick between the two for my 9mm can. Videos make the suppression seem the same. Big difference or little difference between them? I'm only going to run it dry.

These seem two be the two front runners for 9mm pistols. Difference is negligeble across the board in terms of dB reduction.

According to Silencer Research, the SWR is the loudest can. The Gemtech Multimount at $700 seems to be the best dB reduction/$ can for 9mm. It is tied/close to the Ti-Rant, but $500 cheaper.

No Evo9 in this year's test.

No link either, you gots to pay.

The Ti-rant seems to be the "best", but the Gemtech seems to be most efficient.

The only Evo 9 test is against the Gemtech Tundra, the Multimount's predecessor and little brother. Tundra beats the Evo 9 soundly.

I'd share the content, but we all know there are rats on OT WMD

TI-rant is $400 more than the Evo 9.

    Found his 2008 Test.

Looks like with the AAC Evo 9 vs the SWR Spectre 9 and Gemtech Tundra, the Evo 9 is the poorest performer on a variety of hosts.

Gemtech seems to be the best deal for pistol silencing. If money is not an issue, then the Ti-Rant wins.

Nope. What host you use has an effect on sound reduction.

Ti-Rant tied with the Multimount. One won with the Glock 17, the other with the USP.

You want to look at the Trident 9 with SWR, that has long been considered the quietest of the 9mm cans. I have it and its easily shootable without ears with or without subsonic ammo.

With Subs, the bullet hitting the berm is almost as loud as the action.

Here is a vid, which doesnt really do it justice since there is nothing to compare the sound to other than the slide slamming forward, which is louder than the shot.

This is is with supersonic ammo too.
