I trained the whole year with C Co of my batt. and last week I got put into A Co since they were short on mortars. Its kind of wierd being a new guy and I don't know anyone so it sucks. By the way we go to iraq sept 17 so I am a little bummed that all the guys I was trainin in the field with will be on a different jcob or w/e in iraq.

what they said, i've been on so many deployments with groups of complete strangers and a good deal of them are some of my best friends now. it's always weird at first, just don't act like some kinda weirdo loner and everything will be cool.

just think of it as an opportunity to meet some more cool ass people.

    good luck. :bigthumb:

Odd, this exact same thing happened to DarkPhantom before he left.

i got moved with one other guy from my former company. The truth is our section had 9 guys they had 4 so we gave up two. I honestly wasn't picked to be switched but one of the guys didn't show up to work and you can't give them a guy who dosn't show up so he said me. I am honestly not bothered by the fact i was chosen because i see it as a new oppurtunity but the fact that its so close to deployment.
