I decided to try a new style of aerobic so I don't get sick of running/cycling, so I swam some laps. Holy shit that was harder than I expected. After a few laps, I had to rest for a few seconds before going another. But damn it felt good. I think I'll incorporate that into my regimen once a week for a change of pace cardio.

Any hints on swimming for fitness?

    mix it up.

If you're familiar with swimming then try adding butterfly & breast stroke to your workout.

Hell i could even see using swimming for HIIT, maybe 25-50 meters balls out then 50 meters easy :dunno:

I'm not familiar with swimming - I've seen those techniques, but have no idea how to do them, so I have just been doing the regular natural way. Maybe later I will do that.

Swimming will get easier pretty quickly. You just have to get used to using those muscles that way.

Swimming is some of the best cardio.
I swam for 13 years and it kept me in great shape.

PM me if you'd like some info on anything or for some routines.
