I have a clear plastic stud that I need to wear for work, and a CBR for the rest of the time. What is the easiest way to put in and take out a CBR?

unless you become proficient in removing and adding the cbr bead, (either with tools or by popping in and out) change it to a horseshoe. (Or whatever you prefer)

Guess i'll just have to get proficient.... I don't really dig the curved barbells.

Right now it is a real bitch trying to get the bead back in. A good source for tools would be bmeshop? Any other suggestions on places to buy tools?

you could also look into a spring loaded cbr, or a single side screw 'cbr' which has an internally threaded hole at one end of the ring with a complimentary threaded ball that screws into place, all the 'look' of a cbr, with the ease of insertion of a cbb.

I think I'm getting better at just slipping the ball in and out now.

    Snap ring or circlip pliers.

edit: as you press the handles together, the tips open up - sort of like a reverse plier.
